I have had TCU in my BY Top 25 the last two polls; they are a solid team who gave Baylor a game at home. Can they keep up with the Lady Bears in Waco?

not unless god intervenes. ;)

TCU does not really match up well with Baylor, due to a lack of size on the post. We were unable to take advantage of this last time because Nalyssa Smith was out with injury, and Queen Egbo had foul trouble. With everyone relatively healthy, I expect big days from all three Baylor post players. The first game was also unnecessarily close because of an absolutely terrible free throw shooting performance. Given what happened in the first matchup, I expect Baylor to come out firing and not let TCU have hope like they did last time.

17-13 BAY end of first
Richards 6 pts, 3 reb, 2 ast

Baylor with some rough basketball lately

Copper and cox really struggling shooting tonight

The Horned Frogs are taking the ball to the basket, playing tough D, and refuse to be intimidated by the Defending National Champions. Can they put an L on them?
They are down by 2 at the break.

Baylor leads 36-34 at the half
Jayde Woods, of TCU, played one year at MD HS with Lou. She has 7 points at the half

Lady Bears up 13 in the 3rd. TCU has a blanket on Cooper.

I believe Woods was also in that prized Class of 2016 recruiting class at Oregon along with Ionescu and Hebard. I think that Woods was the first of that class to transfer out. That signing class had 7 signees for Oregon. A very nice run these past three seasons for the four that opted to stay, including Lydia Giomi and Morgan Yaeger.

Lady Bears won the 3rd stanza 22-11.
Te'a finally hit a trey.

In Fort Worth, TX, The Horned Frogs played even with The Lady Bears for 32 minutes.
Tonight, they went mano y mano for 20 minutes.
End result: 81-62 for The Defending National Champions.

Egbo and Ursin are great options off the bench. Egbo has really grown this year.

Rough night for cooper

81-62 BAY final
Cox 16 pts, 10 reb, 6 ast, 5 blk
Lauren Cox almost had a triple double. She blocked 3 shots flat footed.
Egbo was 7-8 / 5 boards / 15 points.

Attendance 8200.
