There was some talk about this on the Texas board earlier this year. With Hattis joining the basketball team this spring, her scholarship this year counts against basketball instead of volleyball. Volleyball may need the scholarship this spring. When Hattis was a freshman, Coach Elliott let Hattis join basketball in the Spring when they really did need a big.

Hey, you can always use another 6-4 post player if you have room on the roster. Why not?
