That's what I was getting at. Lincoln set it the last Thursday in November and FDR moved it to the 4th Thursday - supposedly to extend the Christmas shopping season. Two comments -
- my memory could be, and often is, faulty
- Now, the Christmas shopping season appsears to run from late summer through December 25th. Out here in what is still "early" October, the Halloween displays have been shrunk to half size to accommodate the influx of Christmas decorations.

14.. Pinot, pony & JR, guys who can't get their noses out of the funnies.

15..Yes, Rex Harrison having a hissy fit, revealed by rbny, JR & zorro.

16..How you get a 7-footer onto a postage stamp eludes me, but ed4 is the only one reading the ribbon
underneath our girls playing FIBA bball.

17..Geordi, JR and zorro crossing the Siegried Line, and their ears still ring today.

18..Forget all that, the most intriguing part is the cancellation of Thanksgiving by William Howard Taft, cause he wanted
all the birds for his plate.

19..The New Zealand Kiwis, ed4 as the lone person of the group who sees the connection.

20..Ark, SC, Tx A&M, Mo. Ed4 again as most complete.

21..Paulus is the guy turning tail, with geordi & JR running right behind him.

22..Pinot, K9 and a gaggle of others dealing with wounded organs.

23..It's a battle between bulls, no toreodores need apply.

24..These guys under Papa & Baby Doc terrorized Haitians. A zorro quartet as eyewitnesses.

25..The Ramblin'Wrecks are not only a hell of an engineer, but can play some football. Pony & Meyers
have elected to keep us informed of their later fate.

I'm tickled to see just about all our regulars licking their pencil points and digging in.
