That was my first ever UConn football game if my memory serves me correctly. I was a freshman in the marching band and honestly I was a bit overwhelmed going from a high school, where if someone showed up outside of the players parents it was considered a big turn out, to 40,000 screaming fans. That was the first time I looked at the field and took pride in wearing the school colors.
