Ranks as the 8th best guard in NY, regardless of class (Khadeen Carrington is 5th).

8) Terrence Samuel, 6'3" Senior, PG (South Shore)-
Played more of a classic point guard role this season with more wing scorers on the Vikings teams which is why his assists per game shot up to almost 7 assists per game. Has the elite PG size that college coaches like, and can work the ball well with either hand. Moves the ball around well and can thread the right passes inside, and runs the team well as a clear vocal leader out there. 13 points a game may be less than expected, but he didn't focus on his shot this season and truly looked to get everyone involved. Stepped up defensively becoming a true ball hawk, the UConn bound Samuel could make an instant impact in Storrs.

I know rankings seem to place him closer to D-Bev, but I think he will be a much better player and have a better career.

Khadeen's from same article:

5) Khadeen Carrington, 6'3" Junior, SG (Bishop Loughlin)- 24 points a game make him one of the best pure scorers in the area. Better than anyone at getting to the rim from the off guard spot, Carrington routinely beats defenders going left, and no one can stop him. He is strong and has a good handle to be able to get inside and finish at the rim using good court awareness to know how to position himself while driving inside. Athletically gifted beyond belief, he still does need to work on his shot as it does lose its consistency at the release point and he just doesn't have a fluid rhythm, but defensively he is there and no one can stop him from getting to the rim. Big future ahead for sure.

What's the deal with Severe? It seems like a bunch of mid-majors and some decent D1 schools have scholarship offers out to him. If Bazz leaves, why wouldn't he be an option for us? He seems better than the Austin Pope kid and Emmanuel Owootaoah that had previously been mentioned. Share NY player of the year honors with Facey - does anyone know why he isn't more highly regarded and why we wouldn't potentially be interested in him?

He gets lots of pub, yet the schools he lists aren't Big-timers. Wondered the same myself.
