Can't find a link for the story, but the main page strongly implies it. Here it goes.
lots of confirmation. Press conference at 3. Not sure what next steps are for ACC. Do they have a vote? have they already had one?
Domino number 1 has fallen
I always thought Edsall was destined for the Big Ten... PSU, OSU, Michigan... I guess he finally got there.
Some things you can't say no to. B1G invite is one.If Maryland voted against the B1G, they'd have hell to pay. Their football stadium is half empty these days (like ours), and they'll need the B1G's traveling fanbases to buy them up!
Not one of my more productive mornings.
Lol it's not just us I saw this quote on the Terp boardA source with knowledge of the situation told InsideMDSports that Maryland's Board of Regents has decided to move forward with a move to the Big 10 Conference.

Just cleared my schedule to refresh constantly all afternoon
I wish this could be true. Unfortunately RU is in the same boat MD is in financially. Even if they weren't... $$$ talks.Perfect...acc counters by offering rutgers. RU's leadership likes ACC more. Uconn takes RU's B1G invite...the rest is peachy.

I think as a UConn fan you hope to hear rumblings that the ACC has contacted Uconn about joining sooner rather than later.

I'm of the opinion if espn is reporting we are the likely candidate it was already worked out...I'm unusually optimisitic right now though so who knowsI think as a UConn fan you hope to hear rumblings that the ACC has contacted Uconn about joining sooner rather than later.
