Tennessee?

Was shocked to see that Tennessee was 23 on kempom today. Maybe i'm missing something, but does anyone else find this extremely bizarre? No top-25 wins , 7 losses? Weird...

They did beat Virginia, so that will be a Top 25 win later today. They also beat Xavier.

But yeah, results like that show flaws in the system. I like kenpom generally, but Duke is always overrated. His system has them #3 right now. He had them ahead of us for every one of our titles--even after we beat them.

Kenpom's rating is purely analytical. I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape about it. It measures offensive efficiency, in context with opponent, tempo, and myriad other things. If Tennessee is scoring in an efficient manner, they're going to be ranked high. Period.
