As a Husky fan, I’m not going anywhere, but what can we reasonably expect down the road? With a financially-strapped athletic program facing the inevitable demands, will the resources continue to be committed to any women’s athletic program, irrespective of its extraordinarily proud history? I don’t know the answer, but I’m certainly skeptical. I am pleased with the prospect that increasing levels of parity are bringing to WCBB.
