Looked at box score TN outscored FL 24 to 2 in 3rd Q. Once in a while, they show up to play.

It looks as if Westbrook is getting healthy again. She had been limited due to a injury.

Or maybe just that she looked like she did early in the season against those patsies that built most of that 15-0 record. The amazing thing is that some thought that an SEC basement team like Fla had any shot at all. It says something about the erratic Tenn Vols.

Even if Tenn beats S Car they are going to almost assuredly have to play 4 games in 4 days to win the SEC tournament. Georgia isn't going to lose at home to Fla & Missouri has the tiebreaker if they lose. They are looking at the 8 or 9 seed and if so would face Miss St in their third game in 3 days.

I agree the LVs have been erratic but let's be honest, there are fans of this board who dislike the LVs so much that they would bet against them when playing most teams.

UT has limped to the end of the finish line but will be seeded no worse than 7 based on the W-L record in conference. That's not a good place for them to grind out a SEC title and they should have won a few of those they lost based on talent.

Not sure if erratic covers it. They are a bad team with a lot of individual talent. Have been for along time now. I've never liked them of course but frankly I was always prepared to give them their due in regards to getting deep into the tourney. But right now, I don't care where they are seeded they will not last long.

South Carolina should beat Tenn, even in Knoxville. But the game won't change SC's SEC position or, probably, its NCAA seeding. But it would be a big win for Tenn.

Georgia beat Florida on the road, so they'll probably beat them at home. Missouri has a tough road game at A&M that could go either way. A loss means they don't get a double bye in the SEC Tourney (they lose out in any tie breaker situation) and could move them down a seed in the NCAA. A&M will be motivated as they're looking to break into the NCAA Top 16. LSU shouldn't have any problem with Bama which missed a chance tonight to keep their NCAA hopes alive.

Had Bama held on for the win tonight a Missouri win at A&M would have given them a second place SEC finish. A loss would probably leave them tied for fourth and their seed in the SEC Tourney could go as low as #7.... but the seeds from 5 through 8 aren't that much different.

There remains a realistic chance of a six-way tie for second place in the SEC. All it would take would be wins by Tenn, A&M (who is 10 - 5, not 10 - 6), LSU and Florida on Sunday. Somewhere there's an SEC official reviewing the tie-breaking procedures!

s!

In that scenario.... Mizzou drops to 7th and makes it a strong likelihood of a rematch with SC in the Second round :D

With this win over Florida, UT has demonstrated enough to the NCAA selection committee, and will now be rewarded with a #2 seed in the NCAA Tournament! Head bang
