Last game at the XL center this season and it was enjoyable. While waiting to go into the arena I had plans to meet with Matt, the coach of a basketball team from Virginia Beach and have a photo taken with his team. Talked with them and lots of other friends and fans before the game. I ended up with a good seat to a game that said the attendance was just over 13,000 but it did not look like there was 3000 empty seats. Before the game started the practice squad were honored. It was great to see them recognized for of all their hard work to help the team. One member who was the team for four years got his jersey framed. Even though I am feeling better my voice was still sore and was not planning on doing the UConn cheer I did one cheer late in the third quarter. Not my best but still glad I did it. Senior night my voice should be 100%. Took less photos then normal because just was in a trance watching the game at times forgot to take pictures. I love the photos and truly believe that UConn is a cut above the rest when it comes to honoring the people that help the Husky woman be who they are, a CLASS ACT. Not only do the honor the practice team, but they also honor the team managers on their Senior Night. Wonder how many other Universities do this.
