considering there's an XL men's basketball game the same afternoon at noon, any guesses on the Temple game time? Hoping to make both, but not sure how that'll be possible without a night game at The Rent.

I can't see it being a Saturday night game... I'd guess noon.

Every effort is made to not have games at the same game times. Wouldn't be surprised if the fb game at the Rent is 3:30/4:00 - that is a common time slot of AAC games.

I can't believe that AD Dave did this. Do P5 teams schedule home BB and FB games on the same day?

A question for the AD, why do our games are only schedule in Sept an Nov? Oct is the best month of the year and yet I cannot remember a game played @ home. Every year in Sept the elderly man who sits neit to my son has had heat stroke and passed out. We leave early because I cannot breathe in the heat.

Nov is just as bad with the cold wind and snow/rain. Please schedule some games in Oct for the fans.

Unfortunately that is mostly conference season and the conference schedules them. Did you enjoy that lovely October weather vs Umass? Haha just playing. It might help get visitors from the southern schools to make the trip if they can enjoy the leaves and comfortable weather.

Only if you have an off campus venue. Most campuses couldn't support both.

But even if you could, why would you? I can't believe I'm the only one upset about this.

Your answer makes no sense, mr doesn't buy season tickets. Why would the AD have such disrespect for people that buy tickets to both sports. Like you in a Speedo, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

ESPN has it listed as a 3:30 kickoff

It better be 3:30. At least I can tailgate at the XL.

That would be great. We can watch the basketball game in the parking lot.

or arena football? Could probably fit the Rent crowd easily in the XL

Not sure what you are trying to get at. I have season tickets to the football games. I do not have a ticket for the basketball game.

As bad as the team has been this year and for six of the preceding seven, home football has been an event, more than just a game. I wish others felt that way, but I begrudge them neither their financial priorities, nor time commitments.

Without getting particular, I have a few tailgate-mates who are currently experiencing a rough go of it lately, and football provides a distraction. I plan to be in the parking lot at Rentschler at noon on the 24th, cheese steak (with Provolone) in hand.

Hopefully it is 3:30 as I have season tickets to both football and hoops. If they are both at noon I am going to watch the team that has a chance to win. But like I said I hope I can go to both.

He's hinting that, if this game were on campus, it wouldn't be on the 24th, because we wouldn't be subject to a 3rd party's availability. He's probably right.

FWIW, the basketball game was originally listed as TBA, as well, so lord knows what was being wrangled around.

This is much more the AAC's fault than the AD, FWIW.
