Dawn still figuring out her line up. Will be interesting to see if this becomes permanent. Starting or off the bench, Amihere will still play starter’s minutes (just needs to stay out of foul trouble like she was vs ISU).

USC 44
TU 25
Halftime

Cooke 12 pts
Boston 8 pts, 4 reb
Amihere 6 pts, 2 rebs
Russell 5 pts

USC 76
TU 37
End 3rd

Cooke 23 pts
Boston 14 pts, 9 reb, 3 blk
Amihere 11 pts
Henderson 8 pts, 7 ast
Saxton 3 blk

Reports of Boston’s sophomore slump have, in my eyes, been greatly exaggerated. She has 14 points, 9 boards, and 3 blocks. A bit above her season average in ppg and a bit below in rpg.

Saxton 15 pts, 7 reb, 4 blk
Russell 11 pts, 3 rebs, 2 stl
Thompson 2 pts :p

Not the most impressive 60 pt win I've ever seen, but Carolina pretty much just leaned on them the whole way.

Didn't hear what Dawn said about Amihere in the starting lineup, but I think that should stick. You've got four now that should start the rest of their careers.

Beal is solid at the 3, but I think there is a chance if she stays at this level offensively someone could overtake here.

Saxton, Grissette and Russell off the bench looks like a productive 8 player group. A number of players beyond that that don't hurt too much to play.

I'm not sure Russell is a surprise exactly, but she's definitely come in with an aggressive mindset. Outside shot at pushing Beal for playing time? We'll have to watch that one.

I really really like Russell.
