Last night at home and today at work the site is really slow and unresponsive to everything you try to do. Is anyone else having that issue? Really annoying.
It's been an issue for some of us that Nan is aware of. She recommended clearing cookies. I found that to be the best option so far.Last night at home and today at work the site is really slow and unresponsive to everything you try to do. Is anyone else having that issue? Really annoying.
How do I clear cookies? I have a Mac at home and a PC at work and I'm having the same issues on both computers that just started yesterday which is why I figured it was the site and not my computers. It's been an issue for some of us that Nan is aware of. Someone else can help you with PC. I'm wondering what search engine you're using. I'm wondering if the problem is that this site is working with google and something about google is working at odds with other systems. But this is a totally unsophisticated guess.
Ok, follow the steps I suggested for the Mac and consider going to Chrome. Although my guess is that something on this sites server has something related to google and google is trying to follow the patterns of our web surfing. It has more trouble with IE and Safari and that bogs down our computers until it sorts things out. Just guessing about this. Not a computer geek but issue isn't chrome related, this site utilizes google because we were told this and thus the warning about posting pretty girls.Safari on the Mac and Internet Explorer on the PC.
Hmmm, great idea!I was having serious problems until I blocked freescooter and those Providence guys, and now it works great!

I'm home. I cleared my cookies and it's still slow. Very annoying. I feel like I'm on the internet back in the dial up days!
Nah, that isn't it. This is the only web site that is slow. I just went on 10 different web sites, including some other message boards, and this is the only one that is slow. Something is going on.Probably all that smut you're downloading. Lay off the freaky stuff; it tends to slow everything down.

Maybe Fishy is just trying to tell me nicely that my presence isn't wanted here any more. He is a vengeful SOB.
Clear your cookies every so often. You can also make your privacy settings more stringent to prevent cookies, although that causes issues with some sites. It's probably Fishy telling you something, but it could also be temery making big (BIG) {BIG} money on ad sales. As soon as I buy something or even look at a product on another site, I start getting ads on The Boneyard for that exact same product. Is this Fishy phishing?
Didn't help at all. Something has to be going on since I'm having this problem at work and at home and it just started yesterday.V
