As the Sweet 16 is now fully set in Women’s and Men’s basketball, there are 6 schools that have both basketball programs still alive. I don’t know if that is a record or ties a record, but seems like more than most years. Here is a breakdown of each schools upcoming matchups, in alphabetical order:

Elite 8 matchup - #1 Arizona or #4 San Diego St

Baylor Woman – 2 Seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #3 Kentucky
Elite 8 matchup - #1 Notre Dame or #5 Oklahoma St

Connecticut Men – 7 Seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #3 Iowa St
Elite 8 Matchup - #1 Virginia or #4 Michigan St

Connecticut Women – 1 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #12 BYU
Elite 8 matchup - #7 DePaul or #3 Texas A&M

Kentucky Men – 8 seed
Sweet 16 Matchup - #4 Louisville
Elite 8 Matchup - #2 Michigan or #11 Tennessee

Kentucky Women – 3 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #2 Baylor
Elite 8 matchup - #1 Notre Dame or #5 Oklahoma St

Louisville Men – 4 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #8 Kentucky
Elite 8 Matchup - #2 Michigan or #11 Tennessee

Louisville Women – 3 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #7 LSU
Elite 8 Matchup - #1 Tennessee or #4 Maryland

Stanford Men – 10 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #11 Dayton
Elite 8 matchup - #1 Florida or #4 UCLA

Stanford Women – 2 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - # 3 Penn State
Elite 8 Matchup - #1 South Carolina or #4 North Carolina

Tennessee Men – 11 seed
Sweet 16 matchup - #2 Michigan
Elite 8 matchup - #4 Louisville or #8 Kentucky

Tennessee Women – 1 seed
Sweet 16 matchup – #4 Maryland
Elite 8 matchup - # 3 Louisville or #7 LSU

So who do you any of these schools will get both teams to the Final Four?

I give Uconn the highest chance followed by Louisville, Kentucky, Baylor, Tennessee and Stanford last, but kudos to all these schools for having making it where they are now with both basketball programs.

Another interesting fact: There are 2 scenarios where the final four set up would be the same.
Uconn v Stanford and Baylor v Louisville
OR
Uconn v Stanford and Baylor v Tennessee
