howzabout some realistic individual reactions, like:
rj -wanted to come here, didn't happen, so 2 years to work hard and mebbe get back, get's back but spends another year hanging around, then covid and thinks 'will there even be a season?' then the season starts but many are down on him, gets benched, james is gone, then finally, after all those years, it starts to flow. a bit at first, but then the stream turns into a torrent with big production from him while the team is crushing the comp down the stretch.
but wait! he's hustling his butt off in a 'destination' game, yet then again the fates interrupt him by yelling 'hey! ur head is bleeding all overda place! get off the floor and sit down now! ouch.
today, he is very, very, happy. cool.

Amen, brother. Gotta remember that UConn was his dream school back in St. Anthony's and now he's here.
