We play so much better when everyone chips in. I give Shabazz credit for taking charge but sometimes he takes over to the point where no one else will attempt a shot. It seemed to happen late in the second half when Daniels passed up a shot and Giffey did too. Credit to Boatright in OT. Great win. Hopefully, it will give us some props with the polls.

True, we got very stagnant late in the second half. Bazz bailed us out but he needs to balance the line a little better in terms of taking over and moving the ball. Hard to ever get on his case though because he's so good.

I don't think Daniels felt 100% after that fall in the first half. He had 5 and 5, and didn't do much after.

Outstanding team effort. Memphis played very well and we battled them the whole way. PN, although he certainly made some mistakes, continues to demonstrate incremental improvement. I loved the charge he drew early on...he is learning and has become a serviceable big.

PN was very good down the stretch. Battled Goodwin, was aggressive on traps without fouling, made a tough hoop in traffic, had the most important offensive rebound of the game, went to the floor to ensure the shot clock violation on Memphis' last possession of regulation. He did exactly the things we need him to do for us to have success in March.

The BIG block by Deandre leading to the shot clock violation was where he showed what he is made of. We were passing up shots all game and this was unlike the at Memphis game where everyone was hot. I'll take Nils heating up for the end of the season and the NCAA's. Phil is still improving and today Tyler was ready for the pass by Ryan when he was swarmed on his first half drive. Boatright played a whale of a game despite his turnovers due to over penetrating. Couldn't stop Memphis in the fast break but our half court D was solid.
