there was some discussion awhile ago about this team's ability to play pressure defense , and whether geno would really emphasize that. last night's game certainly showed what pressure defense can mean in games against top teams, and what a difference maker it can be. most of the truly oustanding teams, men and women, were able to play shutdown defense. championships are not easily won without it. this team has a chance.
