UConn has offered 2017 SG Taylor Rooks. From Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee Georgia, Taylor would bring a dominating presence and southern basketball experience to any college team. She has game, is taller than Waters and probably two or three years younger.
A current guard on the Huskies was asked if he was concerned with losing playing time if they added Rooks.
"Well, it's possible but I'm not worried about it. I'm sure we can find a way to coexist on and off the court. Plus I'd rather look at her across the huddle at the foul line than look at Foxen." The Silver Fox refused to comment for this story.
Plus, it's her birthday. Happy Birthday Taylor. I wish I was turning 25 today.
