Either way, besides us in 23-24 there doesnt seem to be many juggernauts in CBB. (I surely dont fear BYU) so id rather make the tourney healthy than banged up but with a better seed. This is just my opinion but lately I've cared way less about seeding in march. Dont rush that PT.

Just me, but id give Tarris the night off and the rest and play him Friday. We need him healthy for BYU.

BYU is going to be a tough game. Don't overlook them.

Overall yes, rest Tarris so 20 min cap and if in first half, Reibe gets the next 20 I don't care who thinks this is going to be a rotation it's just first game back for Tarris. We'll be up 30 by the half anyway.

Demary can play the 2. It's a good thing we recruited egregious depth at the wing

My guess is that he'll play 5-6 minutes each half, UConn will be up 20+ pretty quickly, and Reibe/Koroma can handle the rest of the minutes

I'm sure that will factor in the decision. But he's been practicing the last 4 days and I'd bet the practices are more strenuous than what he'll face against New Haven. So either he's ready to go because he's been practicing or he's not and then he shouldn't be practicing.

By the way, your post insinuates that it was Hurley's decision to bring him back to practice after the initial hamstring injury. It wasn't his decision. It was the medical staff's.

We've dealt with this about a dozen times the last 3 years so I'm betting 90% of the board knows what it means.

Has Hurley ever said GTD and then the player hasn't played? Seems when he says it the player is a go.

Edit: Hurley said GTD about McNeeley before the Marquette game at Milwaukee last season on 2/1 and then he didn't play but played in the next game 6 days later against St. John's. So that's at least 1 time.
