Throughout the tourney, every time Tarris was fouled and went to the line, the talking heads told us he's a 45% FT shooter. But during the tourney, he shot 76% and change rate from the foul line. You would think that by last night, they would have noticed that.

He does have a nice looking stroke. Probably more confidence and focus was all that was needed.

His form is different. Before he did have a good fluid motion and tried to softly flick the ball on his way back up. Perfectly textbook for a small guard, not for a 7 footer

Recently he's just been bringing the ball up to his head and flicking it at the top. Much better suited for someone his size. And the results show

You could tell when a Tarris FT was a miss or a make based on whether he was rushing it. He has stopped doing what he was doing earlier in the season. He has started to take his time on every free throw.
