She had a nice start, seemed to continue the quality under Dawn with 3 NCAA tournaments and two 2nd round finishes in her first 3 years.

But in the 11 years since, made only one NCAAT with a few WNITs mixed in.

Sorry to hear that but needed to happen. Temple basketball (men’s and women’s) is a mess. The AAC is a terrible fit but there is this issue of the football team. Temple basketball belongs in the A10.

Definitely sorry to hear. I am one of those fans who think that some coaches do not get a decent run at trying to build a program. Not for this situation. Fourteen years is a good run and Coach Cardoza did a decent job at Temple. She ended up with a solid winning percentage (239-171/ .583 overall & 125-78/.616 in the conference) so if she were to look for another coaching gig, that looks decent on her resume. But I wish her all the best.
