It's UCONN time and that means for this year it's also MILLER time. We scored the ball effectively overall, but our perimeter defense left a lot to be desired. Omar showed solid and effective play as well as Nolan who looked much better than last year's Nolan.

Positives: Shonn Miller showed how important he will be this year for us and had a very strong first game. Scoring, showing touch, athleticism, and understanding. He is obviously a huge upgrade over Nolan at the position.

Jalen Adam-- He is our most talented player on the roster, and showed why he was such a highly touted recruit out of high school. He has a little Kemba and Lamb in him and has all the tools to be special for us. He is the ALPHA on this team with the composure to take and make big shots. He has the best handles out of any player on our team.

Sterling Gibbs--He had a solid outing, but nothing spectacular. He is an upgrade over Terrence and can make perimeter shots which will be big for us.

Hamilton and Brimah-- They both looked the same as last year not showing a great jump yet. Hamilton's handle hasn't improved much and Brimah is still committing unnecessary fouls, and not rebounding like he should. We expect big things from these guys.

Purvis-- He is a slasher and can hit wide open perimeter shots. He had a really good second half. Overall a positive game with some tentativeness and tacky fouls on his part.
