Perhaps one of the best measures of how well a team takes care of the ball is the assist to turnover ratio. On the offensive side, assists are in large part about successful ball movement. In addition, turnovers are somewhat a measure of sloppy ball movement. While the A/T may not be a perfect measure its, IMO, pretty good. In fact, it may be one of the best measurements to identify well coached teams as teams with high A/T ratios tend to be well disciplined. If you buy that, here is how we rank against other top teams:
