Take in the Sites - Husky Walk, Jasper Howard Memorial, etc

I know a lot of us are going to have newish or non regulars coming to the game this weekend. Make sure you give them all there is to experience pregame other than just your awesome tailgating scene.

Bring them to Husky Walk - approx 1:15ish. Help get the boys pumped up as they walk off the bus. Don't worry you can bring your beer with you.

Go for a walk around the stadium / other tailgates. Go find the Husky Ambulance and the Firetruck.

Inside the Stadium take them to the Jasper Howard Memorial, show them the banners hanging from the concrete pillars holding up the upper deck.

Hell, if they are from CT, take them to HS Coach's Hall of Fame.

Point out to them that there is more tradition than people think. There are passionate fans. Help to breed some more of them!

The Homecoming win over UCF on the day they unveiled Jasper's memorial was one of the greatest days in UConn football history. We're lucky to have an amazing fan base that came together and made this statue a reality. I can't see the statue without getting emotional. Our young program has accomplished more than most people realize, and are back on the path to establishing a rich tradition. Never forget to pay respect to the young man who lost his life on that tragic October night, he is still looking down on the team from above. My sister and her boyfriend will be attending their first UConn game, and I will be sure to make them aware of Jazz's memorial.
