LOL. Holland from Texas driving coast to coast at will with no one stopping him had nothing to do with it. We are lucky that Boatright and Hamilton are playing well and hitting tough shots, T-Sam and Kentan getting opportunistic offensive rebounds or we could have been down 15 to 20 points.

Mid Game observations:
@Fishy 's SC2 gunner theory got some solid support today when SC2 fired up a 3 from 5 feet behind the arc and didn't catch rim early in the shot clock. JC calls a TO to pull him and bench him after that, unless his name is "Ben Gordon" or "Shabazz Napier."
Brimah needs to get better at finishing - Does not get much vertical on alley-oops and around the rim. Also needs to use left shoulder to protect 1/2 hook.
Team defense at picking up the ball in transition is awful. Just awful. 3 or 4 layups where initial ball handler never passed.
SC2 is starting to look like a rich man's RJ Evans - appears to be a 1/2 step too slow for high D-I action.
Facey has some nice potential - liking this kid more every game.
We're giving up too many open-look 3s. This score margin could be worse. Gotta get better at closing on 3 point shooters.
Not sure what Purvis brings to this team, but I have a very strong feeling that we'd be doing better with him in this game.
Need more clear-outs for Daniel Hamilton. Move 4 guys to the left and let him work from the right. He seems to be able to take his guy at will, but he runs into traffic immediately from sloughing defenders.
I think the foul call on Phil was proper - he was moving.
Our main issue on offense is that we only have two guys who can remotely create a shot - everybody else needs to be set up.

They also gave us a make up call on the next play after the blown Nolan charge call. This was about some defensive breakdowns on uconn's part, not the refs. Thought it was a pretty well called game.
