RIBS: All varieties (dry rubbed, dripping with bbq sauce, surprise marinade)
assorted sides
corn bread
in keeping with fall harvest-some apple based dessert
BEER

Editor's note: The local BJ's has 3 different rack styles: Lloyds' bbq, Kansas City style rubbed, & in the meat section-plain racks to do your own thing. The local Costco has huge prepared Kansas City stryle ready for grilling as well as unprepared racks. (A plus is pork prices are relatively inexpensive when compared to beef & feeding a big crew)

As to whether our spread gets named UConn tailgate of the week: not an issue. We just care that everyone is satiated before entering the RENT.

We did baby backs for Memphis. I still have to circulate the tailgate email, but I'm looking for St. Louis style this week. One member has already floated Jambalaya due to the expected attendance of our tailgate.

Will update later in the week.

Looks like I've been tapped to make chili. Will grill up some Mucke's dogs as well to go with it. I'm trying to get some wings or an some sort of appetizer out of the foursome that's coming.

For those that like to include something of the opponents local cuisine, both fried ravioli and pork steaks would be a hit at a tailgate.
