Tailgate menu for H.C. Game...

Will be meeting with tailgate crew tonight to discuss in detail. Some preliminary tidbits: veggie garden is giving back-there will be homemade salsa as a dip, homemade pickles, cole slaw. Group has decided on a Massachusetts food theme.
Beverage du jour will be Lagunitas Dog Town-it's OUR house. We'll drink canine beverages!

So: We are pulling out Pearl dogs,gourmet burgers, assorted sides, maybe a kielbasa.. the baker in our group will make a surprise dessert. There will be an original vodka based cocktail that we're calling "Crusader Crush" (purple colored, so it MAY contain grape juice).

Grape juice? Might as well add in some blackberry brandy (Old Mr. Boston for the BC game). The very thought of that stuff still makes me ill.

Polar Seltzer will definitely be used for a mixer and rehydration, but Worcester County is not known for it's delicacies.

We'll probably do up a tray or two of clams/mussels befor they go out of season and also a bag of Smartfood popcorn (founded in Marlborough Ma).

A buddy of mine thought drinking a 10 dollar bottle of brandy per night was classier than a 10 dollar 12 pack per night for a couple months one semester. That is, until he left a purple puke stain on a wall of a Carriage apartment.
