That leads to an open court track meet with plenty of UConn possessions, assists, and easy baskets. Anyone remember the first quarter against DePaul? DePaul, a 7th seed, tried that strategy and was down 37-6 after one. In those instances where we are defending in the half court, the Orange has no inside game to concern us. Even if Syracuse gets hot and gets big scoring games from Sykes and Peterson, I doubt Syracuse can score more than 75. So, worst case, we outscore them. [/QUOTE]
