USF did pretty well with Orekhova. Glad to see foreign kids getting good looks. We had some interest in a foreign kid for the 2014 class but not sure what happened with that...

Syracuse? What league do they play in?
Can't remember whether it's the Ionian League or the Mediterranean League, but I heard rumors that they may be pulling out to join the Adriatic League.

I think Syracuse is somewhere in Sicily. Geno would know.

It will be interesting to see how the other teams in the ACC react to the physical play of Syracuse. Many thought UConn was physical, just wait until they play Syracuse. Syracuse has improved their recruiting, but still not enough to win the ACC.

Did anyone notice the following?

"Slim posted nearly identical stats in the 2012 U18 European Championships, averaging 12.2 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Dutch squad that finished in fourth-place with Hillsman on its coaching staff"

I thought NCAA rules prohibit recruiting while coaching for the national teams? Does it not apply to teams from other nations?

You paint a pretty picture, caravaggio. Nice catch!

The Dutch team looks very stylish in their wooden Adidas.

Technically, I imagine the rules frown on it, but hey, if you happen to get to know a coach and take a liking to him/her, and you're looking for a place to go to college, and really who doesn't want to spend their college years in Syracuse, NY, well, you know...

My understanding it is USA BBall policy about not recruiting... cost one coach a return gig.
