Why would Louisville's radio network be covering the game between Syracuse and NC State?

Where is the letter guy?

This one is 10-9 NCSU midway through the first

4:19 left 1st quarter...NC State holding a 10-9 lead. The 4 seniors plus Kayla Jones starting for NC State so far. Grace Hunter and Ace Konig have knocked down THREEs for NC State; Gabby Cooper has a THREE for Syracuse.

Elissa Cunane came in after the first media timeout and proceeded to take over, scoring 8 quick points. NC State with a 25-16 lead after the first quarter.

Has been a while since NC State was that productive in a quarter, shooting 53.3% from the field...3 of 8 from long range. Syracuse shot 36.8% on 7 of 19 shooting, and was 2 of 8 from THREE.

The stat I am paying close attention to is turnovers, which have killed NC State during their recent slump. So far, the Pack has 4...to 2 for Syracuse.

In a cruical development...Elissa Cunane picked up her 2nd foul early in the 2nd quarter and will sit the remainder of the half.

4:27 left 2nd quarter...NC State leads Syracuse, 38-26. 16 different players have scored so far (9 for NC State, 7 for Syracuse).

Very cool play (except for State fans).
Konig was dribbling just outside of 'Cuse's lane and attempted a behind the back dribble. The Cuse defender stole it mid dribble and had an easy 2 step uncontested layup.

Halftime: NC State leading Syracuse, 40-33, but the Orange finished the half on a 7-2 run.

NC State shot 50% on 15 of 30 from the field, was 4 of 12 from THREE and 7 of 10 from the FT line. Syracuse shot 40% on 14 of 35 from the field, 3 of 13 from THREE and 1 of 3 from the FT line.

Kiara Lewis led all scorers, with 12 points, Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi added 6 points. The leading rebounder for the Orange was Emily Engstler with 4 boards.

For NC State, the leading scorer was Elissa Cunane, with 8 points in just 6 minutes of action. Kayla Jones recorded 7 points, Grace Hunter 6 and Erika Cassell 5. 10 Wolfpack players saw the floor in the first half, and 9 scored.

NC State dominating the boards, 25-12. NC State has 8 assists, to 6 for Syracuse.

NC State remains sloppy with the basketball, with 10 turnovers in the first half. Syracuse has turned the ball over 4 times.

Foul trouble may be an issue for the Orange in the 2nd half. Engstler, Djaldi-Tabdi, Digna Strautmane and Amaya Finklea-Guity each have 2 fouls for Syracuse. Kaila Ealey and Elissa Cunane have two fouls each for NC State.

That was Kiara Lewis. State's going to have to keep an eye on her. She's fast...deceptively so, and has the ability to shoot us out of the gym if we're not careful.

For NC State, 4 players reached double figures, led by Ace Konig's 13 points, breaking out of her shooting slump. Konig was 3 of 9 from THREE and added 5 assists and 2 blocks. Joining her in double figures were Kayla Jones and Erika Cassell with 12 points each, and Grace Hunter with 10. Good to see State back in the win column. Didnt see the game... looked at the boxscore..and saw that Cassell and Hunter played well. Is that the most Cassell has played all year?

Yes. She still isn't 100% from last season's ACL injury but she balled tonight. She did not play in our loss to Duke on Monday.

If your 3 seniors can give yall this type of production down the stretch...... yall may turn around your season after all.
