Many of those top teams can't shoot from the perimeter.

The problem is that Anthony Davis can hit a foul line jumper.

Most teams don't play against a zone like Cuse can throw at ya. The back line of the zone became more active in the last 10 min and that stopped the interior bleeding. They are a FF team , but maybe with a little luck.... They can beat anyone and so can we and Ky, and Nc,. I don't think a # 1 survives to the final.

We have more individual talent than 'Cuse but they are a much better team. They have many versatile players that can adjust to the flow of a game while ours have set roles and play pretty much the same way all the time. They also have a better bench. If we played them 100 times, we would win maybe 20 times. We need to play an absolute perfect game to beat them and we just can't. They say you can't beat a good team three times in one season. Whether it's poor rebounding, poor free throw shooting, failing to defend the three, giving up second chance points, it's a different reason every game why we lose.

On the bright side, I hate to say this but I really wanted to win today but was fine with not winning the tournament. I prefer the guys get some rest, hopefully a beneficial draw in the tourney, and unleash Drummond on some of these teams that have not seen a player with his athletic ability. I see utilizing Drummond's athleticism as the key to a deep run in the tourney. I just hope we don't run into Cuse again.

I think if Syracuse wins the BE tourney, it is a very bad thing for them and their NCAA tourney prospects. You don't want to go into the tourney with a single loss (and that loss being without Melo). After a season like they've had, I think it's better for them to lose a game in the BE tourney to splash some water in the players' faces to refocus them on winning the next six games in the NCAA tourney.

I agree, I don't think Kentucky, UNC, or Syracuse will be there at the end. I like Michigan State. They've been under the radar all year and are an excellent team.

Michigan State just lost a key contributor to a torn acl in Brandon Dawson. You can never count Izzo out but they have over acheived this year.

I would legitimately be shocked if Kentucky doesn't make the Final Four unless they get a really tough draw. They're so much more composed than any UK team under Cal and actually play great defense. Plus they have so many weapons that you basically can't stop them all. Other than that Indiana game where they shot like 60% from 3, no one has really come very close to beating them.

Here is their problem: they're PG can get rattled, and they have no depth inside.

You they get a team that takes advantage of Teague, or if Davis gets in foul trouble, they will be in trouble.

This team could also probably use a loss, a la the 1996 Kentucky team.

If Waiters does not step and shoot out of his mind today, they lose.

Me neither I see them being upset in the sweet sixteen. Make no mistake we lost this game today against Syracuse. We will be probably be a 10 seed and out of all the 2 seeds I want us to be paired up with Duke and I am sure the NCAA committee will arrange it so that happens because they know that game will get big ratings and I am going to love to see UCONN dominate them.

They did hold us off 3 times, fair play. The problem is we're really not very good and we had a very good shot to beat them 3 times. Color me unimpressed.

What this team needed was to win, get to the finals, and coast into a 6 seed. Then they could get to a 2 seed like Duke on a neutral court and hope for chaos (a la Arizona over Duke, Kentucky over OSU, Butler over Pitt) on the other side of the bracket.

Their depth is a killer. Every game we played them they had more left at the end than we did. They are an awful match-up for us expecially when they give you the middle and we can't hit shots. We will be a tough match for most other tourney teams. I just hope we don't run into Cuse early in the tourney. Given the number of BE teams that will get in it is going to be like last year with having to play other BE teams.
