Not that it matters, the impact to the team was the same but Sveta didn't blow out her knee, she blew out her foot.

In this day an age when everyone has a camera phone, it is almost unbelievable that no one posted a picture somewhere. I'm actually surprised that UConn didn't post a picture of her.

Sveta was the favorite player of a lot of people, including Marciella Auriemma.

She was our first 3x All-American.

And her English is quite good now. No more excuses with Geno.

Sveta came to UConn as a 17 year old speaking very little English and in 4 years was one of the best players in all of Division I WBB!
And yes UConn would have won a National Title if she and Shea were healthy!
IMHO that UConn team was the 1st or 2nd best WBB team of all time!

Sveta was having such a great year that Sr season. Shooting 54%/45%. 6.5 rpg. on her way to >150 assists, >100 steals, >500 pts for the season. Just all around great game.
