The argument for why the NCAA should not allow transfers to play without sitting is because it would allow top programs to just poach all the top talent from the lower level D1 schools.
Well, this season has had one of the most exciting opening weeks in recent memory IMO. There is tons of parity across basketball, both at the power conference and mid major levels.
Allowing players to transfer into systems that fit their play style is good for everyone involved.
Also, I think super seniors has contributed to making this such a great early season. I would love to see the NCAA consider changing the redshirt rules to something more like college football, where freshmen can still see some court time but retain redshirt ability. More mature players in the college game is a good thing, not a bad thing.
