all three games tonight were close games at the end, which is about all I got to see of them. Diana continues to be the best there is in basketball

I think you know the answer to this, but if you want to poke me, I'll play along. Of course not if you look at this game in isolation. 3-14 is not exactly lighting it up. As I said, neither team shot well. Bria continues to push the ball hard and is aggressive to the hoop (to the delight of her new coach)

Bria is a rookie in the most talented league in the world. She has started 11 out of 16 games, is averaging over 26 minutes per game, shooting 41% overall and 34%from 3 from an 11 point average per game. Those are SERIOUS numbers for a rookie. Oh, and throw in 3 assists and a steal per game. So yes, I continue to be impressed by Bria and I don't know why you are not (after all she is the bomb).

Meeseman looks good in more ways than one! Cute girl!

She was getting the open shots and was hitting them. She made a couple of Euro-type post moves in the 1st quarter (got an extra step on one). If she learns how to use Stef's picks and develops a pick and roll she'll score in the high twenties per game easy.

She was player of the game but I couldn't make out anything they said after the game. I wouldn't want to go see a concert at the Verizon Center. I think she and Stef went to the Katie Perry concert together this week.

The Sun played some tough defense so Bria didn't get many good drives off but she's playing solid.

Meeseman is only 21, the same age as College seniors. I remember someone on Rebkell, who was familiar with her game saying that if she was committed to play in the W every year, she would take her 3rd or 4th in last years draft (possibly ahead of Skylar). She certainly looks impressive, putting up quality numbers.

Bria is the bomb!! I think her Jr year gave the impression that she was inconsistent, when it was due to her injury. This years crop of rookies are very good with Chiney, Sims, Bria, Stef, Kayla, Alyssa, Shoni...(I may be missing someone).
