Golly the refs are beyond terrible! They take officiating to a new low!
Players not even touching & fouls called, and players running over opponent and no foul called.
What a shame great players, great coaches and incompetent refs lowering the end product.

This win has 2 great positive implications for the Sun:

1. They clinch the 1st round bye which gives Coach Curt the...
2. ability to rest key players going into the playoffs (I don't think 3rd seed vs 4th seed makes a lot of difference)

Positives:

1. JJ is in MVP mode (3rd 20 rebound game of the season, moves into 2nd place for the all-time season rebound record)
2. Alyssa is in ATrain mode (all aboard!). If you don't want to get run over, stay off the tracks.
3. Strick's heater from 3 continues (50%) AND she's playing D (3 steals)
4. Jas Thomas still solid as a rock (20 pts, 5 assists)
5. The Sun had 21 assists on 27 made baskets

Negatives:

1. Even by the low standards of the W, the reffing was pretty poor. I'm not one to look for bias in the foul calls, but IMO EDD definitely got the golden girl treatment tonight. Other than that, the incompetence was fairly evenly distributed.
2. Hey Courtney, what the heck was that? I figured with an additional $1653 in bonus money on the line you'd play like an All-Star. Seriously though I wonder if her legs are bothering her. In the last bunch of home games she tweaked ankles pretty bad about 3 times. Her shots are now coming up short. Fatigue? Injury?
3. Someone ask #33 what she did with the real Morgan Tuck. We need to find her ASAP.

Proud of Baby Bron Bron (or the A-Train as you call her in Connecticut). She had put up a solid season after a dominating career in college. Always been a huge JJ fan. The Mystics were one pick away from drafting her.

The Mystic reserves are terrible (like the Wizards). They need to work on that next season.

Jas was the victim of a couple crazy calls and non-calls. I really thought the one pictured would result in a T. She is rarely that demonstrative.
