Summer Practice/AJax Highlights

I’m getting exited . I love Jackson or Little Magic as I call him.
Our plan so far is to chance it and spend Thanksgiving and Christmas in Ct for the first time in 17 years.. I can’t tolerate cold so I’m pretty anxious.
If I could talk my grandsons into taking in a few games maybe I can still make them Huskie fans. I’ll try to get ticket info as we get closer. At my age buying green bananas is a gamble.

The one thing i got out of this highlight...Sonogo hit a jumper, with nice form to boot :}...bring it!
Jumper's nice, but I want to see him dunk instead of shooting a 2 foot jumper, and if he insists on shooting from arm's length instead of dunking, use the damned backboard!

You can tell when a player has matured. AJax light bulb has turned on. Playing with Bouk and Martin, I think he knows where his future lies and what he needs to do to get there..

I expect a big leap this season.
I think Bouk's and Martin's paths were quite different. AJ has seen two paths to the same future. Maybe he is smart enough to amalgamate their paths and find his own.

Only real leaps he needs are a reliable mid-range/floater and of course, consistent treys. He does that he’s 1st Team All-BE
I think he needs to be more aggressive going to the basket. I'm okay with his shot if he continues at 35% from 3. AJ was much better last season than his freshman year. He was especially good in the last 3rd of last season. He may only be a 10ppg scorer but will be a very dynamic 10ppg player. He will fill a stat sheet.

Wow.

Ajax looks like he has lost weight, probably trying to gain that extra bit of quickness to drive past his defender. I look forward to seeing him average 7-8 assists per game this year.

I like that Sanogo gets to go up against a behemoth like Clingan in practice everyday. Should pay dividends.
Those writing off a 7’2” guy with decent strength and athleticism never gave away 5 -6” to a guy. That’s requires all the skills of pushing the envelope of propriety you learned at the un officiated Saturday morning games at the Y.
No blood no foul
