Substitutions on Offense

My. seats were on the Uconn sideline five rows behind the bench it seemed like we substituted 3 to 4 players every single play. I've never seen that before does anyone have a reason for this. It seemed like there were times where we needed to get on the ball quickly and we couldn't because of all our ridiculous substitutions
