This is one of my least favorite elite 8s in a long time. There is not a single team I am rooting for.

Cuse had one of the best regular season in big east history. I think they tied one or two uconn teams in the w/l columns.

Not sure if they would've won tonight with Melo, but I think they and UK were the two best teams this year.

Some of their fans make them so difficult to pull for.

A lot of people call them traitors. Frankly, I can't fault them for doing something I wish UConn did.

That said, now I just want Kentucky to lose ASAP. Ohio State can beat Kentucky. Perhaps Louisville can. Maybe Kentucky fan. Baylor probably can't. A healthy UNC could (but I don't like UNC either).

I don't care who wins a title, provided UK doesn't.

It was a good year - a Final Eight banner is nothing to sneeze at.

But this was a title run year for them and they really needed to put something in the trophy case.

I can't stand Cuse and was rooting against them the whole game but for some reason at the end of the game I felt a little sorry for Scoop. Sucks to be glued to the bench down the stretch on your last game in college.

I wasnt sure who I was rooting for/against, if I watch a game where I dont like either team I always pull for the team thats behind. I do like the kids on Cuse but cant stand the fans, the players dont annoy me as much as past Cuse teams.

Bit of a strange game - I never felt like Syracuse was going to win until 57-55 - not getting over the hump there killed them...they missed a free throw, OSU open back up a margin and it was done. Syracuse made it interesting again in the final minute, but left themselves too much work to do.

Syracuse was there own worst enemy at times tonight missing a ton of lay ups.

Who else thought the game was called to tight until the last couple of minutes. Just wondering if it is just me.

Not sure you can call this a good season for Syracuse. When you blow a shot at a title and you are a favorite all year it isn't a great year. Yes they lost Fab Melo, but its unclear whether or not they even should have had him in the first place. In 2009 UConn was a favorite, lost Dyson and still made a final four. Syracuse wasn't capable and came up short of expectations. Not a good season.

Why did Scoop deserve to be in the FF?

No profound reason, I've just always thought he was a good kid and great teammate. Also, the kid is unlikely to have much of a professional career, so I thought it would have been nice to see a fifth year senior get a shot to play in the final four.

Everybody else on that team is either an under-classmen and/or will have a career in the NBA. Scoop's just some kid who had his 15 minutes of fame and wanted to extend it one more game. I feel bad for a lot of kids who lose in the NCAA Tournament--there is nothing quite like it.

I'm very,very,very glad they are gone. They didn't get their grubby paws on the BE trophy either. And the icing on the cake would be the BE cutting both them and Pitt lose now, maybe even yesterday! Kudos to Ohio State for a job well done. Enjoy life in "Pukeland" Cuse! I've heard orange is Krapascrewdookski's favorite color; and the morons in Cam-moron have some special times planned for you.
