Actually you got a point. My gf was a freshmen back then and she said they really went nuts out there. it got out of hand. i'm assuming this only happens for men victories right?

Hey I was there in 1999, We did not celebrate making the final four because wanted the big prize. We didn't burn things until Duke went down, we got rowdy after beating MSU yeah but the real celebration was that Monday night.

In 1999, I ran from the Jungle to the TKE house (Jake V showed up0 2 nights later) high fiving cops along the way. I guess things have changed.

I was at UConn in 1990 during the Sweet 16 game vs Clemson



The poor couches in the lounges of the Jungle just didn't stand a chance...an unbelievable (and crazy) night.

I still think this was the start of the UConn basketball journey that we continue to be on today
