Some on the Boneyard may remember that I used to post under the name Iansdad, which Tony consistently called "Lansdad", no offense meant Tony, and that I had a son who attended Connecticut College. Well, Ian graduated from CC with a degree in philosophy and then worked for a few years in a Philadelphia law firm before deciding to attend law school in Chicago.
He just got his grades for the fall semester and received all A's again. I believe that's something like 3 semesters in a row. He's received a number of CALI awards (given to the top student in each class during the semester) so far and has an outside chance of graduating magna cum laude. Anyway, he has 1 semester remaining before graduation and is planning on pursuing a career as a criminal trial attorney in the Chicago area.
Needless to say, one proud dad.
