So as promised I'm going to continue to give away a few student tickets. I enlisted the owner of Ted's to pitch in as well. I'm going to but ten and he will buy ten. If any of you want to pitch in for some send me a message. I'll figure out some way for you to verify that your money would be in fact used for tickets. The tickets will be given away Wednesday to Friday at Ted's. I'll be on twitter and yik yak to spread the word.
 
To get the tickets, do I just ask the bartender at Teds? Looking for a ticket for my girlfriend (she's a student) and single game prices are ridiculous
 
For some reason UConn jacked up the rates for Navy. The cheapest tickets I saw on the stadium chart were $35

This. X 1000....is why Jarhead rocks...and another reason why UCONN has a future outside the AAC. Our fans are down with the process, too.

The school (well they should do this every week) should have a special tailgate for kids who stuck around to watch the game.
 
Are these student tickets? If not I run the @UConnFBFacts twitter account and can find them a home from there. Let no ticket go to waste

We RT'd the Teds tweet earlier today, just didn't know if they were students or regular admission tix

Such an uphill battle. Trying to give away free tickets and kids on yik yak vote down my posts and debate with me that we shouldn't care because we are a basketball school. Nelson I swear to god if you hassle me on there again....

Ask them why the hoops schedule includes Tulane, Tulsa and UCF, but no longer includes Syracuse, Pitt, Notre Dame or Louisville.

Actually, don't bother. It's been so long, they might not remember when Syracuse or Pitt were any good, and Notre Dame's last Final Four appearance was 40 years ago, so...
