I spent the past two weeks away from home for work. Watched the Huskies in a combination of hotel room cable, on the tablet for the ESPNU game and at a local dive bar for the CBSSN game. All wins.
I had a half-day Friday and had today off so I did the 500 mile drive home to spend time with the family. Kids had sleepovers and Mrs. Diesel and I are long past going out on or wasting money on Valentine's Day so the opportunity to watch the SMU game from MY sofa at MY house fell right in to my lap. No need to rehash the result.
So, it's back on the road for another month straight. I'll be home on St. Patty's Day. That gives UConn plenty of time to run the regular season schedule and win the AAC tourney. I'm hoping to see UConn's players match my level of sacrifice for the mojo.
