Street & Smith had the following Top 15 rankings in its annual yearbook for '19-'20:

1) Oregon
2) Baylor
3) Stanford
4) Connecticut
5) Mississippi State
6) Maryland
7) Texas A&M
8) Oregon State
9) South Carolina
10) Notre Dame
11) UCLA
12) Texas
13) Syracuse
14) Louisville
15) Kentucky

Crystal Dangerfield was named to the publication's 10-member All-American Second Team.

Megan Walker was named to the 10-member All-American Third Team.

A surprising omission from Street & Smith's first, second, and third preseason All-American teams is Christyn Williams.

Once again? You certainly weren't underrated last year at preseason #6, despite the ad nauseum protestations.

Being under rated or under estimated is not so bad. In reality, this team is really brand new and with all of the new players, it has not worked together to form a bond or significant achievements. Patience, at this point, is probably a prudent response as opposed to listening to a third party's estimate of who and what they think all of the teams and UConn should be ranked or placed.

Totally agree. Would much rather the team be "under rated". Let them play with a chip on their shoulder rather than carrying the burden of having to be perfect. Will be interesting to see how Oregon handles the load. Should be a fun season to watch.

Lol that a being top-five team is considered under the radar. That is the reality of the program though isn’t it?

I don't complain a out Uconn rankings in SEPT, OCT, NOV, January, ---April 10th's (about) they will have their proper ranking whatever that may be. Geno, with the talent, will be at least an FF team
