Streaks: this is just crazy

We have 2 of the top 5 home-court winning streaks of all time, including the record of 99 straight. We also ended the other 3, by Stanford, Baylor, and Tennessee. Amazing!

Oh, and we keep ending Duke's 2-year streaks. Every 2 years.

Darn it - you beat me to posting this thread. I think it is an absolutely fabulous piece of trivia - what do the top five home winning streaks all have in common - Uconn!!!

After the St. John's debacle of 2012, I'll never want a team to break uconn'a home winning streak. The wins against Baylor last night and Stanford in December 2012 were especially satisfying.

ESPN made a point of noting that the seniors for Baylor had never lost a game at home. Which also means, no other player currently on Baylor had ever lost at home.

This suggests that for the 82 game streak at Stanford and the 99 for UConn, there were players, possibly many, who never lost a home game. And also some players for UConn and Tennessee who hadn't until the streak ended.

I hope to find the time to do the research to add to the trivia point, but if anyone has seen this point made, please point me to it.
