Hey everyone, this went up on YouTube last night but I was traveling today and hadn’t had a chance to share.

I took a look at our upcoming match-up vs Stonehill College and took a look at some of their key players for tomorrow’s match-up.

Video:

Highlights:

-This will be a good early season defensive test for our freshmen facing a motion 5 out style offense, which we will see later in the season with teams like Villanova.

- Stonehill’s star player is Max Zegarowski (brother of former Creighton player Marcus and half-brother of Syracuse’s Michael Carter-Williams). He shot over 40% from 3 last season on good volume and 88% from the FT line. Last year he played the 5, this year he technically plays the 4 as a grad transfer from Hartford is playing center. It’s position-less basketball as they all play beyond the 3 point line in this system.

- Tony Felder is a sophomore transfer PG from VMI. Averaged over 10 PPG last year as a frosh but struggled with efficiency. Stonehills offense could give him more space to operate, although he was 1-12 from the floor on their opening night game at GWU.

- The 4 man freshman class is expected to all be immediate impact players from the Skyhawks and are all great (on paper at least) for Chris Kraus’ system. 2 6’7” forwards who can defend multiple positions, pass and shoot. A knock down shooter from Baltimore who their staff feels is a hidden gem. And a 6’0” guard from PA rounds out the class.
