Considering our first 2016 commit didn't occur until mid-June and the first 2015 commit was the beginning of June, I think we'll be fine.

Geez Louise guys/gals, does UConn ALWAYS have to be blase' ? Look around. Houston 5 commits, Duke, 3. Mich St, 4. Hell even dreaded BC already has one. I know there are other teams in the region and in the American with 0 commits also. But it sure would be nice to see some excitement about joining the Huskies for a change instead of the same ole "what part of the barrel can they scrape for recruits this time around?"

No it's a loss to Marshall. And then on top of that you have peeps clamoring for UConn's inclusion into the next re-alignment rumors. All I'm asking is for a couple bowl wins and maybe a conference championship run and maybe, just maybe UConn to not be scraping the bottom of the American Conference recruiting class barrel for a change.

Kids aren't going to verbal to UConn this early. They will wait until they're sure they don't have a shot of getting an offer from a top team in a major (P5) conference. We need to be patient. UConn will end up with the recruits that fit with Coach D is looking for .

It's already March of 2016 and the team hasn't won one single game yet this calendar year. GRAB THE PITCHFORKS!!!

And we aren't scraping the barrel. Diaco and co. know who they want and have been getting the guys they want. I feel like this recruiting thing is a little new for you.

lol I didn't realize he was a PP supporter - it's even funnier now that he's complaining about a bowl loss when P never made a bowl game and was left with so much more talent than Diaco was.

You really got to get a grip, that or meds for your own sanity. That or do some homework on the level of our program and see the time frame in which things happen. You had a panic thread going for a new AD two weeks after Warde made his announcement.
The players we are able to attract are somewhat under the radar and it takes a little more time than the P5 schools that can simply take the next in line. That and Bob even holds that level to a very high standard. I would rather see 0 recruits now than five changing their minds at the last minute and no alternative. They will come he has already proven that. RELAX ....Take a deep breath...

The nice thing about football compared to other sports is that the rankings themselves mean much less. There are tons of 2* and UR recruits out there with the same skill sets as 3* and 4* recruits. Edsall did a great job identifying that talent, and I think Diaco is going to find a nice mix between players that are scouted well and some more under the radar recruits that play in scouting "wastelands"
