Stewie was named the POW for the final week 17 AAC honors. It was her fourth time this season to pick up the award and the 7th time a Husky did it, with Bria getting two and Stef 1. In its attempt to always distribute awards among members of different teams, among the 6 players chosen for honors in the 17 weeks, Stewie's selection was only the 14th time in the 17 weeks and 102 overall picks that a Husky got into the AAC honors, with never two in a week. MoJeff the nation's top point guard got selected the first week and was never picked again.
In the AAC media guide, a team of 10 members were selected to the AAC preseason first team, three of them Huskies with Stewie, Stef, and KML the choices, and Bria was one of two Honorable Mentions. The AAC all-conference soccer first team did consist of the usual 11 players, but I'm assuming that it's different for basketball and that 10 will be on the first team.
