Not sure how you got xenophobia out of this??? FIBA is an international association, and includes 213 national federations. Who's are the foreigners? Not really a issue of hatred either. The Hijab just got lumped in with a "safety issue".

Don't believe this will be an issue much longer, FIFA lifted their ban recently. I imagine FIBA will follow suit.
