In two games in Lithuania, Stewie has picked up where we last saw her.... 46 points in 43 minutes, 4-5 from 3's, 14-14 from free throw line and 10-14 from 2 pt land. Her shot chart shows long threes and short jumpers, as well as some lay ins. No dunks yet...lol

Add in 8 rebounds, 7 steals and 3 assists vs 2 turnovers. All this while playing only 43 of 80 possible minutes due to USA's blowing out their two opponents.

Morgan Tuck has also chipped in 36 points in 47 minutes. 16-25 shooting (64%), 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals vs only 3 turnovers... She is 2-3 from 3 pt....The third amigo, MoJeff has 10 points, 6 assits and 4 rebounds vs only 2 turnovers. Shooting is off a bit at 4-14 (29%)....Go Huskies..!!

If we can add Ms. Stokes to this equation, at anywhere near her potential, we will be in the Land of Oz: Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my!

I think that while Stokes will be important--especially if Stef were to experience any more issues with the feet or shin(?)--the real key to whether or not this is a legendary vs. just 'great' team will be Mo's performance at PG. She doesn't have to score a lot, just be able to break down the D, faciltate & organize, and then disrupt the opposing guards at the other end.

.-.
If Mo doesn't do well, there really is no problem, a lineup of Stef, Breanna, Morgan, KML, Bria has more then enough ball handlers, defensively they would be unstoppable, steal and fast break city. Moriah will get it by the end of the year, she doesn't have to be dominant in the beginning.

"Fear the Stewie?" I don't know Wonk. Stewie isn't the easiest word to rhyme. The best I can come up with is:

Stewie goes ratatouille
images

Picking up where she left off. Let's see, the last we saw of her she was ... the best player in the country!

I'm worried though--her 3-point percentage has dropped from 87.5% to only 80%. But she's making up for it at the FT line. :)

MoTuck would be the star if not for Stewie. That's a really nice duo!

You say that Stewie is tough to rhyme... Louie, Louie, what you gonna say now... In the end all I can say is phooie to that bunch of hoodie because you seem to have stepped in bit of pooie or something gooey.

I'd like to add Banks in there as well. I hope she can pick up where she left off. There will be a lot of good ball handlers. Who knows about Saniya?

That is just a bunch of hooey.

Great RSVP- and or Brianna Banks ability to get back close to where she was prior to injury, doing the same thing possibly.

When she's driving, she sometimes pulls a U-eey.

Stewie will definitely "buoy" our team in 2013-14 Season!

And some say that Gypsy curses and mojo is nothing but patooie. But the truth is this whole thread's just gone kaflooey.

I don't know about mojo but this thread has been officially stolen.

This thread is turning so screwy
with rhymes on hooey, Dewey and phooey.
But stats don't lie,
Lithuanians cry,
and Chinese get chopped to chop suey.
You missed your calling.

There once was a girl named Stewie
who had a very large shoey
her opponents can only stare
as she scores from anywhere
and her reach was as long as a canoey.

It's almost the start of the game,
The PA announces the Huskies -
It's KML, MoJo, Steph and Banks.

And then comes Stewie.
Rats says the opposing coach,
My defensive plans just went kablooey
