Great team game Clark, Howard, and Stewie over 20 pts each. Bird being awesome with 16 pts. and 10 assists.
Oh, BTW, one simpleton did not vote for Stewie on the first team all WNBA. Dude!? "Las Vegas forward A'ja Wilson and Los Angeles forward/center Candace Parker were unanimous selections to the All-WNBA first team, the league announced Sunday. Seattle forward Breanna Stewart was on every first-team ballot but one, which had her on the second team." Stewie on the second team??? Four UCONN players in the WNBA top ten - Stewie, Phee, Sue, and "D"
Box Score: Seattle vs. Las Vegas - Box Score - October 4, 2020 - ESPN

Not a lot to add after Beercats comprehensive post...

But lets not forget...The Aces are a fine team...and Asia Wilson
has become virtually unstoppable when she gets the ball anywhere inside the foul line.

And Angel McCoughtry really has had a wonderful series (and is making a strong case for Olympic inclusion)...also, almost unstoppable either from distance or on her seemingly impossible drives to the hoop.

The big mystery...(actually not so big) was the limited minutes of Sugar Rodgers...who hit her first couple of 3's but was quickly yanked...she did make some bad passes that seemingly compensated for her accurate shooting.

So what's the difference between the 2 teams?...Seattle's overall coherence and that means Sue, who at 39 moves around the court like a kid and more often than not finds a seam in the opponent's defense. And the general unselfishness of the whole group, completely secure in their roles, however that may fluctuate during the course of a game.

Seattle has UConn-esque ball movement and floor balance. Geno and CD would approve.

Las Vegas is badly handicapped by the loss of Hamby IMO. Not sure they'd be winning with her, but without her it's an onerous ask.

Also deserving mention are the stellar performances by Natasha Howard (21 points on 9-10 FG, 8 rebounds) and Alysha Clark (21 points on 8-12 FG, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and her usual great defensive work).

And I'll throw Jordin Canada some love too. She scored 3 big buckets plus an assist early in 4Q to help stave off Vegas's challenge when the outcome was still in question. Productive minutes off the bench.

Seattle is so a joy to watch. The ball movement. The spacing on the floor. The hustle!! Everyone understands their role on the team. The leadership. That is the part that impresses me the most. That leadership and everyone understands their role on the team. Great chemistry and solid coaching. I will leave the other part out. Don't want to jinx anything.
